We had a wonderful lunch at Gao today. The shrimp salad was excellent, featuring very fresh shrimp and crunchy Vietnamese celery, served with crispy prawn crackers and authentic Vietnamese fish sauce. The broken rice with grilled pork and steamed pork loaf was delicious, and we especially appreciated that they used traditional broken rice, just like in Vietnam. The bun mam nem was outstanding, full of authentic flavor. The beef pho was also delicious, and we loved that it was made with fresh pho noodles, which gave the dish a great texture and taste. The restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a perfect lunch experience and would gladly return.

Love this place! I found it on Google and decided to give it a try because their menu features many dishes from Da Nang, my hometown in Vietnam. I’ve been here three times now, and it never disappoints. 💪 I’ve tried the Bun Cha Ca Da Nang, Bun Mam Nem Da Nang, My Quang, and most recently the Bun Bo Hue. While the Bun Bo Hue tasted more like Bun Bo Da Nang (traditional Bun Bo Hue usually has more sate and a spicier broth), I was so happy to find authentic Da Nang flavors here. 🤭 Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious, and the quality has been consistently excellent. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Central Vietnamese cuisine! 👍

Loved the chicken gizzards so much but everything else was just alright. Wasn't a fan of the broken rice dish or the lotus root salad. The fried chicken dish was decent though.

GAO Restaurant completely exceeded expectations. The service was exceptional, and the young gentleman who helped us was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. The warmth of this family-run business truly makes the experience feel special. The food was absolutely outstanding—authentic Vietnamese cuisine, rich in flavor, and clearly prepared with great care. Every dish felt comforting, memorable, and beautifully done. A truly wonderful dining experience with amazing food and exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five Stars – Exceptional Experience This was our first time trying Vietnamese cuisine, and it could not have been a better introduction. The service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The gentlemen working this evening took the time to walk us through the menu, explain the dishes, help us choose our meals, and even offered taste tests, which made the experience both comfortable and enjoyable. The food was amazing—everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can truly tell that care goes into every dish. The restaurant itself was spotless. Cleanliness was easily five stars, which made us feel even more confident and relaxed while dining. We will absolutely be coming back and will be recommending this place to all of our friends. If you are considering trying Vietnamese food for the first time—or if you already love it—this place is a must-try. Highly recommen
